Independence day was celebrated in our school  with great zeal and patriotic fervour. The school campus was gorgeously decorated to commemorate the day. The chief guest , respected Mrs. Manjula Devi , the academic advisor was received by the administrator and the Principal and was escorted to the ground by the school band set. In the presence of the gleeful gathering , the National flag was hoisted by the chief guest . 

The students performed March Past with the Indian flag to pay tribute to the mother land. The students belonging to different houses , Agni, Akash , Vayu and Bhoomi formed the battalions and received the honour  from the chief guest . Then the students from various classes staged a colourful programme consisting dances , patriotic song , skit and speeches. Some of the highlights are the following :
