The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 at Vagdevi Vilas School, Birur was held with great enthusiasm on Friday, 4th July 2025. The occasion marked the official induction of the newly elected student council, entrusted with leadership responsibilities for the year.
The event began with the arrival of the Administrator, Sri Gavi Siddesh, and Principal, Smt. Saraswathi H A, followed by the Flag Hoisting and General Salute, igniting a spirit of patriotism.
A devotional Invocation Song set a divine tone for the event. Kum. Harshan Chidanand of Class VIII ‘A’ warmly welcomed the dignitaries, parents, staff, and students.
House leaders, along with the Head Boy and Head Girl, introduced their houses and pledged their dedication to uphold the school’s ideals.
The highlight of the event was the Badge Ceremony, where the new leaders were honoured with badges by the Administrator and Principal, signifying their roles. This was followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony, led by Sri James Sir, where the council vowed to serve with integrity and dedication.
In her motivating speech, the principal congratulated the council and stressed the values of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, while appreciating the efforts behind the event’s success.
A synchronized March Past by the student council showcased their discipline and unity. The Head Boy and Head Girl delivered inspiring speeches, committing to serve the school community sincerely.
A lively Mass Drill Dance energized the gathering, symbolizing harmony and cooperation.
Kum. Manvitha proposed the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging everyone’s support in making the ceremony memorable.
The event concluded with the National Song – Vande Mataram, evoking a sense of unity and patriotism.
The Investiture Ceremony 2025 was a proud celebration of leadership, commitment, and school spirit – a truly memorable milestone for Vagdevi Vilas School, Birur.
